Food
Nowadays, there are so many varieties of food in the world that people like to eat. Some types of food that we eat are good and bad for us.  So, we have to make a choice of what we want to eat and what we need to avoid.  Healthy food is the food that contains a balanced diet and unhealthy food is the food that can harm our health.
Healthy food is good for us because it can help us to strengthen our immune system so that we will not get sick.  There are many types of food that can be classified as healthy food such as fruits, vegetables, oats, wholemeal bread and soup.  We should take these kinds of food because our body need vitamins.  Fruits like bananas and papayas are good for our digestive system.  We also must drink plain water at least eight glasses per day to keep our body hydrated.
Unhealthy food contains chemical substances as additional flavours or colours to make them more delicious and look appetizing.  Candies, instant noodles, cakes and ice-cream are classified as unhealthy food and we should avoid from taking them. These types of food are very synonymous with children.  If we take too much of those food we might face health problems and diseases such as obesity, diabetes and high-blood pressure.
As humans, we should take more healthy food than unhealthy food.  All kinds of healthy food can allow us to get more vitamins and energy for our body.  Proteins like fish and beef can heal our broken tissues.  Eating vegetables and fruits is good for us as they provide fibre.  For those who take too much food that contains a lot of fat and sugar, they might get many types of diseases.  We also must reduce drinking carbonated drinks because these types of drinks contain a lot of sugar which can cause diabetes.
In conclusion, we need to take healthy food according to the food pyramid daily and at the same time we should try to reduce eating unhealthy food like junk food. Remember that we eat to live and not live to eat.                                                      (355 words)
